If you've spent any time online, developing your internet business, or are thinking about starting an online venture, you obviously want to know if internet marketing is profitable. I mean, thats why you're doing it right? to make the big bucks! Perhaps you havent had a great deal of success yet, and yor bank budget isn't what you'd hoped it would be.

And after hearing of all the success stories told to you through emails and sales pages about the multi millionaire gurus, you've got to see the potential in all this?

But maybe you think it's not for the little guy.

Well luckily, this couldn't be further from the truth. There are millions of everyday people making a great full time living online, or as a second income.

So here are some facts and tips to get your started and making your internet marketing campaigns profitable.

Fact number one: 90% of people that attempt Internet Marketing fail.

You know why? There's 2 reasons actually.

People will purchase an Internet Marketing guide and then wont even use the techniques in their business. They just let the information sit there on their hard drive.

Most beginners will buy an Internet Marketing guide, find out that the information is too advanced for their knowledge and therefore don't know HOW to take action.

The point here, and tip number one is that you need to find a program with information relavent to your experience level. You will be wasting your money if you buy into a course or program that is designed for the advanced user. The information wont make sense and will leave you feeling frustrated and disillusioned with the whole process. Find a course targeted at beginners, and, once you have, in order to make internet marketing profitable, TAKE MASSIVE ACTION!

Your business wont build itself.

The second tip ill leave you with is to set goals.

If you don't know where you're going, how will you get there? SETTING GOALS IS KEY! Make them challenging but achievable. A couple of small tasks each day that lead towards your final goal- this might be to replace your current income and work from home, or, save enough money to buy a new tv. Whatever it is, set your major goal, and day to day steps that will help you reach it. Daily tasks can include writing articles to promote your product, doing some key word research for the product you are promoting or simply finding a product you want to promote. If you're new, baby steps are key. Build up momentum slowly and don't set the bar too high. Trying to do a million things at once will frustrate you, burn you out and won't allow you to learn in the process. Reward yourself for completing the two or three tasks for the day, and then plan out your tasks for the following day (hint: you don't have to spend five hours a day doing these things! Some days I only spend an hour ;) )

And quickly- follow the instructions in the program- they were designed by the gurus, so they know what they're talking about! Do this and you will make some great money online.
